Carbonite just works? Okay, if you think so.

I've got lots of PDFs that Carbonite's ignoring and that I can't manually select. No way, no how.

Carbonite's definition of data is not the same as mind. It's ignoring all .dbf, all .exe [including self-executing ZIP files which contain (ummmm...) data], and a host of other endings that don't fit THEIR mold for data, even if they fit mine.

Please, bad-mouth Genie-Soft if you wish, but comparing it to Carbonite, as if Carbonite is a panacea is just not accurate. For the uninformed (that's lots of us since Carbonite isn't informing everyone of the PDF problem), it's a bit of nightmare waiting to happen. And what other files aren't being copied, in spite of being listed as a valid data file ending (.pdf) with Carbonite?

To lots of people who think that all of their data is safe and restorable with Carbonite, it'll be a rude wakeup call.
