hi there,
I've been using the shiftthis plug, and also had some formatting issues, e.g. with headers, and with the text being very small in GMAIL. are subscribers, the plug-in writer suggests limiting the batches to 100. he has a new version out, but he no longer provides support! (though he gladly takes your money). have you done anything further regarding this newsletter plug? have you moved-on?
thanks-marcus

Hi Tom

Is it Outlook that's rejecting the large number of emails?

If so, here's a possible solution - one that I use for my newsletter:
1. Create multiple Distribution Lists (DLs) - I create one for each letter of the alphabet (or a range of letters where they only have small usage).
2. Create a 'master' DL.
3. Add your individual DLs to your master list. I think Outlook thinks that there are only 26 email addresses!
4. Send the Master list (as a BCC of course to protect subscribers' privacy).
If you still encounter problems with Outlook (as I have on occasion), just send three or four emails the same with about 8 of your DLs as the BCC addresses.

BTW, as you can tell I manage my own list! I don't have enough subscribers to justify the cost of a management service, and as I only send out my newsletter 4 times a year, it's not a big deal. (My newsletter and archives are at: http://www.cybertext.com.au/newsletters.htm - the next one is due out this weekend.)
