My Podcast in iTunes — The iTunes Gods Have Granted Me Mercy
My iTunes podcast page is updated (finally). I’m using Feedburner’s iTunes podcasting elements options to meet all the iTunes specifications. I hope this works better than Podpress did.
(I ended up burning a new Feedburner feed and resubmitting it, so if you still see the old one in there, ignore it.) Note also that I have an iTunes subscribe button in my left sidebar now.
By the way, how many of you out there are iTunes listeners? If you ever feel inclined to rate my show in iTunes, I’ll thank you with a link to your site or blog, if you want.

Hi Tom,
Congratulations on getting listed on iTunes! When I first tried to subscribe to your podcast via Feedburner, it took a little bit of work to get it set up properly in iTunes. I’m glad to hear that new listeners will be able to set things up more easily.
As for your podcast, I’ve found it both useful and inspirational. I’m currently a college student preparing for a career in technical writing. Your podcast has given me a much better idea of what to expect, and for that I’m very grateful.
Keep up the great work!
Best,
Will

Thanks for the tip, Tom. I was a bit panicky when I found out the original feed in my iTunes was dead. I did search the iTunes store with “rather be writing” – I didn’t know whether to do “I’d” or “id”. Nothing was found. Anyway, I’ve found you again, so I can relax.

Will, thanks so much for leaving a comment on my iTunes page. I really appreciate that. One little note — you actually added it to my old iTunes page. If that feed is working for you, great. However, the new iTunes store page is here. If you feel up to it, would you mind copying and pasting your comment onto the new store page?
Again, thanks. I’m glad you’re enjoying the podcasts. What other podcasts do you listen to? What format do you enjoy the most?
