Resumes for tech writer positions often make depressing reading. I’ve been doing a lot of it recently. You wouldn’t believe the number of resumes (CVs we call them over here in the UK) that are full of careless mistakes. I got one recently where the writer claimed to have “an obsessive eye for detail” and then had a spelling mistake in the very next sentence.
