		<description>I&#039;d disagree with Lars as well.  For starters most of the Technorati 100 &quot;blogs&quot; are blogs mostly in format only.  Nearly all of them are more closely related to news agencies than to traditional blogs.  He is also implying that if you aren&#039;t the type of blog that can make into the Technorati 100 then your blog isn&#039;t valuable.  I think that&#039;s completely wrong.

The biggest value for a personal blog is to the individual author.  This might come in the form of contacts, exchange of ideas with others, keeping friends/family up to date, potential employment opportunities, or just the pleasure of being able to write about topics that interest you.</description>
