    “Tech comm is not a one-way street to a dead-end prison…” – though if that’s what you want, that can probably be arranged as well. It just sounds awfully negative for what is actually a desirable outlook for some people, having a stable job that doesn’t change very much.

    I don’t like prison either; maybe a person standing at a crossroads, where one path leads to a dead end (No Outlet sign)?
