As promised, here's a recording of the presentation: [Video: Video](https://www.youtube.com/embed/49F3rBSO_Vs) ## Audio recording **Listen here:** [Audio](https://www.podtrac.com/pts/redirect.mp3?https://s3.us-west-1.wasabisys.com/idbwmedia.com/podcasts/stcsv/stc_sv_why_cant.mp3) [![](https://s3.us-west-1.wasabisys.com/idbwmedia.com/images/apple_podcasts.png)](https://itunes.apple.com/us/podcast/id-rather-be-writing-podcast/id277365275) [![](https://s3.us-west-1.wasabisys.com/idbwmedia.com/images/watchonyoutubeblack.png)](https://www.youtube.com/@idratherbewriting) [![](https://s3.us-west-1.wasabisys.com/idbwmedia.com/images/spotify.png)](https://open.spotify.com/show/4HeOZfPGMMfViOhVS40QBD) ## Presentation slides Here are links to the slides: - [PowerPoint (pptx)](https://s3.us-west-1.wasabisys.com/idbwmedia.com/podcasts/stcsv/stc_sv_why_cant_powerpoint.pptx) - [Zipped PowerPoint (zip)](https://s3.us-west-1.wasabisys.com/idbwmedia.com/podcasts/stcsv/stc_sv_why_cant_powerpoint.zip) I actually use Illustrator to create the slides and then export the images and import them into PowerPoint. If you just want the Illustrator file to use any of the vector graphics, you can download it here: [Illustrator file](https://s3.us-west-1.wasabisys.com/idbwmedia.com/podcasts/stcsv/stc_sv_why_cant_illustrator.ai). Feel free to re-use any of my graphics as long as you attribute them to me. ## Game assets I also incorporated a game into this presentation. Here's the handout for the game: - [Tech Comm Solutions Game (png)](https://s3.us-west-1.wasabisys.com/idbwmedia.com/podcasts/stcsv/stc_sv_game_why_cant_image.png) - [Tech Comm Solutions Game (AI file)](https://s3.us-west-1.wasabisys.com/idbwmedia.com/podcasts/stcsv/stc_sv_game_why_cant_illustrator.ai) If you have any feedback about the presentation, let me know. We had a small group of about a dozen people at the chapter meeting. The discussion was lively, but you might have to strain a bit to hear when people besides me or the people in front are talking. ## The slides Slideshare format: **[Why users can't find answers in help material](https://www.slideshare.net/TomJohnson7/why-users-cant-find-answers-in-help-material)** from **[Tom Johnson](http://www.slideshare.net/TomJohnson7)** Here are all my slides in one easy to read layout: ![1](https://s3.us-west-1.wasabisys.com/idbwmedia.com/images/stc_sv_presentation2-012-600x450.png) ![2](https://s3.us-west-1.wasabisys.com/idbwmedia.com/images/stc_sv_presentation2-272-600x450.png) ![3](https://s3.us-west-1.wasabisys.com/idbwmedia.com/images/stc_sv_presentation2-022-600x450.png) ![4](https://s3.us-west-1.wasabisys.com/idbwmedia.com/images/stc_sv_presentation2-032-600x450.png) ![5](https://s3.us-west-1.wasabisys.com/idbwmedia.com/images/stc_sv_presentation2_Artboard-31-copy2-600x450.png) ![6](https://s3.us-west-1.wasabisys.com/idbwmedia.com/images/stc_game-01-600x463.png) ![7](https://s3.us-west-1.wasabisys.com/idbwmedia.com/images/stc_sv_presentation2-252-600x450.png) ![8](https://s3.us-west-1.wasabisys.com/idbwmedia.com/images/stc_sv_presentation2-132-600x450.png) ![9](https://s3.us-west-1.wasabisys.com/idbwmedia.com/images/stc_sv_presentation2-142-600x450.png) ![10](https://s3.us-west-1.wasabisys.com/idbwmedia.com/images/stc_sv_presentation2-152-600x450.png) ![11](https://s3.us-west-1.wasabisys.com/idbwmedia.com/images/stc_sv_presentation2-072-600x450.png) ![12](https://s3.us-west-1.wasabisys.com/idbwmedia.com/images/stc_sv_presentation2-082-600x450.png) ![13](https://s3.us-west-1.wasabisys.com/idbwmedia.com/images/stc_sv_presentation2-092-600x450.png) ![14](https://s3.us-west-1.wasabisys.com/idbwmedia.com/images/stc_sv_presentation2-162-600x450.png) ![15](https://s3.us-west-1.wasabisys.com/idbwmedia.com/images/stc_sv_presentation2-172-600x450.png) ![16](https://s3.us-west-1.wasabisys.com/idbwmedia.com/images/stc_sv_presentation2-182-600x450.png) ![17](https://s3.us-west-1.wasabisys.com/idbwmedia.com/images/stc_sv_presentation2-042-600x450.png) ![18](https://s3.us-west-1.wasabisys.com/idbwmedia.com/images/stc_sv_presentation2-052-600x450.png) ![19](https://s3.us-west-1.wasabisys.com/idbwmedia.com/images/stc_sv_presentation2-062-600x450.png) ![20](https://s3.us-west-1.wasabisys.com/idbwmedia.com/images/stc_sv_presentation2-222-600x450.png) ![21](https://s3.us-west-1.wasabisys.com/idbwmedia.com/images/stc_sv_presentation2-232-600x450.png) ![22](https://s3.us-west-1.wasabisys.com/idbwmedia.com/images/stc_sv_presentation2-242-600x450.png) ![23](https://s3.us-west-1.wasabisys.com/idbwmedia.com/images/stc_sv_presentation2-102-600x450.png) ![24](https://s3.us-west-1.wasabisys.com/idbwmedia.com/images/stc_sv_presentation2-112-600x450.png) ![25](https://s3.us-west-1.wasabisys.com/idbwmedia.com/images/stc_sv_presentation2-122-600x450.png) ![26](https://s3.us-west-1.wasabisys.com/idbwmedia.com/images/stc_sv_presentation2-192-600x450.png) ![27](https://s3.us-west-1.wasabisys.com/idbwmedia.com/images/stc_sv_presentation2-212-600x450.png) ![28](https://s3.us-west-1.wasabisys.com/idbwmedia.com/images/stc_sv_presentation2-202-600x450.png) ![29](https://s3.us-west-1.wasabisys.com/idbwmedia.com/images/stc_sv_presentation2-262-600x450.png)
